Wanted to let everyone know that I just received all four seasons of Sealab 2021 on DVD. If you never watched the show while it was on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim programming, then I don’t even know why I’m still talking to you.
Suffice it to say that, at its peak, this was one of the weirdest and funniest shows on television…animated or otherwise.
And right now, you can get these DVD sets for a ridiculous price. I was over on the Adult Swim website just looking around and stumbled upon this sale of greatness. I wasn’t even thinking of buying anything, but I would have looked quite the fool had I let this precious deal slip through my fingers (why do I suddenly sound like a video game villain giving a soliloquy before the final boss stage?).
Each complete season DVD set is ONLY $12.00!!!
That’s less than a dollar an episode.
And, sure, the last season isn’t all that great after the guy who voiced Capt. Murphy (Harry Goz) passed away and they replaced the character with the incredibly annoying Capt. Shanks (not coincidentally voiced by Goz’s son Michael), but still, why wouldn’t you want to be a completist?
Go HERE and buy these things now while the price is right! And, while you’re at it, you might as well pick up the first season of Frisky Dingo too…it’s another show created by the folks behind Sealab 2021. It’s even more nonsensical than previously imaginable!
